Navy League Dallas Council hosts Commander Daniel P. Bradley

Commander Daniel P. Bradley will be speaking about the VR-59 and its recent activities, including a trip to Bahrain. He will also share about upcoming events for 2024.

Commander Daniel P. Bradley, a native of Tucson, Arizona, graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005 with a degree in Engineering Management, and was designated a naval aviator in 2007.

Following Fleet Replacement Squadron training in the P-3C, CDR Bradley joined Patrol Squadron Eight in Brunswick, Maine, in 2008. During his tour with the Fighting Tigers, he accumulated over 1100 hours, completed two deployment cycles to the Fifth and Seventh Fleet areas of responsibility, and qualified as a Mission Commander and Instructor Pilot.

In 2011, CDR Bradley reported to Training Squadron 31 in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he instructed students in all phases of multi-engine flight in the extraordinary T-44A/C Pegasus. He also served as the Operations Department Head and oversaw the training of international military students from four partner nations.

CDR Bradley reported to Norfolk, Virginia, in 2014 to serve as a Catapult and Arresting Gear Officer aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). There, he deployed to the Fifth Fleet area of responsibility, while also serving as the Hangar Deck Division Officer.

In 2015, he transitioned to Full Time Support, and proceeded to fly more than 700 hours in the mighty C-20G during his tour aboard Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 51 in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. During his tour he has served as the Administration Officer, Operations Officer, and also graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters in Business Administration.

CDR Bradley most recently served as the Deputy Executive Assistant to the Chief of Navy Reserve from 2018-2021 at the Pentagon, in Washington, D.C. He reported to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Five Nine (VR-59) in October 2021 as the Executive Officer, and became the Commanding Officer in February 2022. He is married to Mille Bradley, and they are graced with two children, William, and Emma.
