President's Message

Welcome to the Dallas Council of the Navy League.

Since its establishment in 1944, the Dallas Council of the Navy League has been dedicated to supporting the men and women of our Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines. Through our community outreach and recognition programs, we maintain a vibrant, visible presence, working diligently behind the scenes to inspire those who serve, as well as to educate and inform our elected governmental leaders and the general public on issues of critical importance to our security and national defense.

Additionally, the Dallas Council supports youth programs, such as the United States Naval Sea Cadet and League Cadet Corps, US Naval Junior ROTC and the MOWW Leadership Conferences, to assist and encourage the personal and moral development of our next generation leaders.

I hope you will spend time learning more about our Council and cordially invite you to join us at an upcoming monthly Luncheon. We are a civilian organization, and although our membership includes distinguished men and women retired from all branches of the armed forces, the majority of our membership have not served in the military, and we remain united, young and young at heart, in a single commitment to support our Sea Services.

Again, thank you for stopping by our on-line home. We greatly appreciate your interest in the Navy League, we hope you will consider becoming an active member, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Barry Brown
President, Dallas Council
